Overview
As the design consultant for Scyntilla, I worked closely with the founder to envision a WebApp platform tha acts like the pivot for all home decor brands, offering users the convenience of exploring a comprehensive range of options in one unified platform.
Challenge
The challenge was to develop a compelling MVP that would effectively serve as a proof of concept for the founder's fundraising efforts. The MVP needed to present a cohesive brand identity while demonstrating a seamless and engaging user journey, from user sign-up to completing their first home decor purchase.
Outcome
The founder of Scyntilla now has a functional and visually compelling MVP that enhances credibility during fundraising pitches. This tangible prototype effectively communicates her vision to investors and potential talent, solidifying confidence in the platform's potential.

Functionalities come first
Scyntilla’s founder and I worked closely to collaboratively shape the user journeys, ensuring her vision and feedback were integral to the process. Together, we translated these insights into conceptual wireframes, prioritising core functionalities while allowing her input to guide the direction before refining the aesthetics.
Building a strategic foundation
To gain a thorough understanding of the brand, I initiated a one-hour discovery session with the founder, during which we established the core benefits of Scyntilla, serving as the blueprint for identifying and prioritising features.
Defining core user scenarios
I systematically mapped out the journey from user sign-up to, eventually finding their ideal sofa and completing their first purchase.
A new furniture shopping experience
Meriem grasped the essence of my brand exceptionally well, she articulated it even better than I could! I needed an innovative design on a very tight deadline, and she delivered an outstanding result.
